Gorgeous couple Hannah and Dave from Uckfield married in a wedding full of the three r’s: rustic-ness, romance and relaxation. In other words, it’s a stunner! They tied the knot last summer at The Chantry in Turners Green (just wait ‘till you see it!) and then partied on at the Sussex Barn in Hellingly.
Over to the happy couple to hear all…
We met at school and had always been friends but didn’t become a couple ‘till we were 21. Dave planned to propose in a hot air balloon as I had always wanted to go in one however it was cancelled due to the weather so we went on a picnic to Hampton Court Palace, instead, where he surprised me with a ring he chose!
We tried to make everything as personal as we could, from making our own wooden heart place names to Dave choosing my favourite flowers to decorate the chapel as a surprise. The attention to detail was what most of our guests mentioned.
We do love a beautiful Sussex barn wedding here at Love Sussex Weddings and Hannah and Dave’s big day was full of personal and rustic touches that made us smile. From hay bales to a perfectly pimped barn! The couple said that their guests commented on their attention to detail – and boy oh boy, did they get busy personalising things? Dave choosing Hannah’s fave flowers as a surprise for their stunning chapel ceremony was such a lovely touch too!
A big thank you to the newlyweds for filling us in on their awesome big day! Of course, we can’t sign off without sending some love to Clare at Fitzgerald Photographic for sharing these sensational snaps with us – aren’t they lovely?!
