Saying their vows in Brighton’s romantic Victorian bandstand, with the sea gently lapping behind them and injecting that infectious Brighton party atmosphere with a drinks pit stop on the beach and continuing celebrations (until 2am!) at Brighton Ballroom’s, this fun-loving duo (and their guests) certainly had a dream day to remember.
We had a natter to bride Nikki to find out more:
Nikki: I found lots of inspiration through talking to friends and on Pinterest.
Nikki: Our Brighton theme was informal with lots of colour – exactly how we wanted it!
Nikki: It was! My bridesmaids had booked an apartment, as a surprise, near to the Bandstand for us all to get ready in, while the boys all got ready at our home in Hanover.
Nikki: Do it your way and just have fun with it!
Nikki: We wouldn’t change anything at all!
Wow-oh-wow! Nikki and Oli’s scorching summer day delight of a ‘do has really brightened up our winter morning!
Themed on their favourite seaside city, these local-lovers kept their big day as Brighton-y as possible through using mostly local suppliers, including Oh My Honey for both the bride’s 1950s style gown and those divine vintage-inspired floral bridesmaid dresses too – didn’t they look perfect for swishing in?
It was also great to see the wedding party celebrate on the beach with a lovely drinks reception before heading off to Brighton Ballrooms to get on the DJ decks and party the night away…
A big thank you to Nikki and Oli for sharing their dream day with us and of course, we must mention the fantastic Wookie Photography, who took all of these wonderful wedding photos – we felt like we were there
