Maypole dancing, a coconut shy, home-made jams, and even a tombola! Charlie and James’ Sussex wedding is literally jam-packed with English village country fete charm. We are so excited to share their beautiful wedding photos and Charlie’s insights about her big day with you (coming up next week on the blogazine), that we thought we would wet your appetite with their amazing wedding video by White Star Pictures.
The wedding took place at Duncton Village Hall last year. Charlie told us ‘The South Downs was our backdrop and we were able to get married in a marquee facing the gorgeous view. As it was a village hall, we decided to make a virtue of it and have a village fete inspired wedding’. Charlie and James’ wedding film is set to the music that they walked down the aisle to – Louis Armstrong’s ‘La Vie en Rose’. Charlie told us: ‘It sends chills down my spine every time I hear it. We both absolutely love the song’.
Tissues at the ready…
Check back next week for amazing photos and the full low-down from Charlie on their gorgeous Sussex wedding in part 2, plus their fab legal ceremony photos from Lewes Register Office in part 3. And find out about Charlie and her friend’s brilliant spin-off business the Brighton Bridal Bootfayre.
